IM Refugium LED vs Amazon Growlight

I am considering upgrading my AIO fuge light.

I have my eye on the Innovative Marine Fuge light but it seems like a bad value when compared to the led grow lights on amazon.

What is going to be more effective for nutrient control? Is IM worth the price?

I think you'll get similar performance from both fixtures and if either shape of the fixture works for you I would go with the Amazon fixture.

This is what I am using now. They can be daisy chained so I might add two more in a red blue color.

I think that's a great plan, builds on what you have and will the same kind of results by just matching their wattages. On white LEDs there can be a bigger gap in efficiency depending on the brand and bin of the LEDs but in this wattage range and useage case I really don't think there is much to be lost in efficiency between brands.

My current light is growing caulerpa but at a slow rate. Not a ton of nutrients in the tank right now.

For $12 I will likely add the second light on my next amazon order.

Any other insights would be appreciated.
