I decided to do skimmer maintenance early this morning. Halfway thru, I couldn't believe I was so dumb as to be close to my skimmer without brushing my teeth and swooshing my mouth with Listerine

I breathed all my overnight mouth germs right into my skimmer

The air filled with my bad breath and mouth germs got sucked right into my skimmer....

I don't know what to do. I'm stumbling around the house in a panic knocking things over

I'm going to lose everything, aren't I?

Should be fine. Air is broken into molecules and dissipates. If youre running carbon, already protected as a breath of listerine compared to volume of water is very small

you need to dose the tank with Listerine Total Care...it restores tooth enamel so it must help create coral skeletons...but use caution as it may contain Vibrant

Do a 20% water change immediately. Wait 30 minutes, then do a 19% water change. Continue this method and report back later tonight.

Nah there will be a hitchhikers in your tank that’ll kill all your bacteria. The listerine man. He’s a one men on a mission to sterilize your tank. I would suggest doing a 100% water change just to be, but I’m afraid he’s the .1% of the 99%.

You're doomed. Quickly do a 100% water change and clean out all of your equipment!

The only way to remedy this is too immediately urinate into the tank so your processed chemicals can offset the unprocessed that you've already contaminated with.

I recommend a healthy dose of your preferred libation to get your kidneys into high gear before the aforementioned excretion work.

About a fifth of JD or a 30 pack of your favorite beer should do it.

Only natural lite or keystone. Anything else will not give the desired effect.
