started out with a prime hd and then added a 3d reefing diffuser which the coral hated . decided i was getting too much shadowing because of the scape . upgraded to a 26hd . running brs ab +, i’ve done 2 water changes since the tanks been running . dosing phyto , reef fuel , calcium , alk
,iodine , and spot feeding reef roids.

nice tank man, my nuvo10 still kicking as well. can I ask in what ways were your corals reacting to negatively to the diffuser? I'm currently setting up a 25G cube with the new prime and one of those diffusers and am wondering about its adverseeffects on corals. thanks.

hey man i think i sold you some stuff , yeah the diffuser was fine for a few days bumped intensity up 10% and none of the corals were opening up as much as they were prior to the install
 
Nice work with the IM10! I keep thinking about trying something similar with mine.

hmmm interesting, I think maybe your corals were so used to that spectrum they were getting prior to you installing the diffuser. I think given time and acclimation, the corals would've gotten use to and eventually make better use of the light blending, well atleast these are my thoughts.

maybe but i’m not really interested in using long term and risking corals dying personally , i ran it for a month and didn’t see the results i wanted . many people have had similar issues to what i’ve experienced
