I hate when you place a photo you get the photo right away and then its harder to make a post or edit it later on.


something I encountered on one of my gixxer sites and always hated it.

I dont suppose there are enough folks who dont like it to perhaps change it to the traditional style?

I would imagine that the sponsors might be with me considering they also post multiple photos at the same time.

sorry, I was posting WAY too fast on too many forums.


when you place a photo into a reply, you immediately get a picture, not your text of the photos location.

it then makes it harder to navigate between multiple photos in your reply.

Are you using the quick reply box, or the regular "advanced"? I can't replicate what you are saying... and when I go to edit the post, I get the image address, not the image.

the reply and post tool does display the images by default. but there is a button on the editor to have it display just the text. it on the far top right of the editor , its the switch editor mode. when you click that is should display the text for the images and not the image.

YAY! Glad you got it resolved.

I would MUCH rather see the image, then have to click a link in a reply.

Oh no, Its intentions are for editing and posting ONLY.

In the end the photo shows in the POST.

But what we were trying to avoid was showing the photo while you were typing your reply.

poseidon, it in reagrad to the editor view mode while editing only. will show you the < im g > code and not the image. for sorting images.

fire , you can change the height of the editor as well. add more lines to the editor for more viewing room as well.

Ja, playing around with that currently, I never played with the options that it has since I usual code everything myself.
