Would have been nice to have limited the posts only to the sellers as it was way to hard to filter out all the BS posting to see what was on sale.

While that may be true, a large part of the Live Sales is "having fun." Also, attempting to "police" such a thread like that would be impossible. We want all of our members to have as much fun as possible, within the rules of course.

Well, I think that all of the "BS" that we posted was a lot of the fun and comraderie of the sale..... and the biggest portion of it was due to a group of us that stayed on after the actual live sale was over so by that point you were choosing to stay just to join in the 'bs'!

Since the sellers were posting pictures of what they had available I thought it was easy enough to find what was being offered. Sure if you weren't tagging along then you had to scroll through a few extra pages but the selling posts were easy to spot.

IMO, if it were limited to just the sellers posts - then they might as well just post their sales in their vendor forums. I think part of the purpose of this was to get as many people in the r2r community involved as we could - and to have fun doing it, not just to have a 'coral sale'.

I don't think blade009 would mind the conversations at all if there were another way to simply see the sale, itself. Maybe a sticky with links to the actual sponsors' sale posts would help the browsers to find things more easily.

IMO, there's no need to have it done one way but not the other. Why not have both? :)

I thought the live sale was a blast I didn't get to be on for long but was great part of the live sale was all the talking otherwise you might just have well gone to the vendors site & shopped in silence

I wasn't able to get on during the live sale but the after party was awesome and the "bs" was the main fun of it. I didn't just stay on to see if I won stuff I stayed on because it was so much fun.

+1, i was too busy all day long, so when i got the chance i saw what was goin on and hit up the thread just as mike got there and it was a lot of fun, that staying up until 1:00 am not so much but all the "bs" made it fun, if you were in it just for free stuff thats fine but i think you were missing the point in the thread. imo

TWO thumbs up !

I really enjoyed the sale! IMO there wasn't much "bs" going on while the live sale was going on but the after-party was a blast and we all laughed and made new friends! :) I also got to become familiar with Mike from sexy corals and Joe from Joe Knows Reefs and I will personally be buying from them from now on since they are such great people and made the whole day for me. :D
