Hello all, I have had my lights out now for about 48 hours to rid my tank of what looked like the beginning of dinoflagellates , I want to turn my lights back on in the morning and start the normal daily routine my lights were on. Should I just set the lights to come on normally in the morning ? Will the fish be okay with this? I have turned the lights on briefly to check the tank , and my clownfish seemed extremely out of it , like hiding in crevice in the rocks! So just want to be sure they will be okay !

After I do a 3 days black out first day when lights go on I'll just have my blue lights on for the first day then after that it's normal schedule

Ok I'll try that tomorrow thanks! So maybe 20% intensity with 10% color which would maybe it basically solid blue. It's kessils so I'll leave it in manually all day tomorrow and then Monday back to normal. Still haven't found perfect lighting schedule with the kessil lights . Feel as thought they fuel algae

+1on blue lights only first day after lights out. If you see signs of remaining Dinos (or Cyano) I've done a fourth lights out day with no issues.
