I got a lyretail anthias female about 3.5 inches. I know it a bit small for my tank, but it been at LFS for a month and it really deserved a home and a bigger tank. My QT was way too small so I just acclimated and put it in my tank consequences be damed.

Anyway. Will it be compatible with.

1. green chromis
2. Lawnmower blenny
3. Royal Gamma
4. Watchman goby
5. Corals
6. small inverts. snails ext.
7. 46 gallon tank. total of 6 other fish, all smaller then her.

If not I can find someone who wants a free fish pretty easy, my aquarium service often re-homes fish for people.

The lyretail should be fine in your tank. They dont get too big, maybe 5" or so. They are great fish that stay in the water column once acclimated. Good luck

In my experience they do better in groups but should be fine as long as that grsmma doesn't feel froggy. Lol.

sweet thanks. Yea... the royal gamma has been pretty aggressive towards it. But to be fair, she did go near his cave. All the other fish know they can go anywhere but in the Royal Gamma cave.

My experience is everyone says they do better in groups but they don't. The weakest is bullied and starves, then the next, until only one is left. A group is more interesting to watch on a big tank though. I think this was a good purchase for you.

She should be perfectly fine with your fish. Lyretails are pretty feisty for an anthias and can handle being kept singly.
