I just purchased a pair of orange spotted gobys and a shrimp. And I just realized there’s nothing in my sand for them to eat... I quickly purchased some frozen mysis and supposedly live pods and other plankton that’s meant for gobys. Suggestions on feed frozen food?

If it gets bad, I will just purchase live black worms until I can find another solution or add some of my established sand with tons in it to the tank

What species do you mean by orange spotted goby? If they are a true watchman(Amblyeleotris guttatus) and pr with a goby, then they will be fine with offered foods. If it is a sand sifter(Valenciennea puellaris) then it will not pr with a shrimp. Some V. puellaris will do fine with offered foods, some do better in established systems with a lot of microfauna in the sand.

It’s the guttatus
