Does anyone have any clue what this might be? I found him in my sump.
The white line in the center is raised and hard. And the black part is softer, more rubbery.

Oooh... exciting!! That's a Scutus antipodes, from the GBR. Harmless algae eaters and they get big... up to about 5 inches... keep him and keep us updated!

They're molluscs, most closely related to limpets, although they look more like nudis.

Kinda a half way house between the two...
 
Thank you guys for the responses! Thats really cool :) hes in my sump, maybe ill catch him and put him up in the display so i can see him more often!
 
I had one wandering my tank for a while but then he disappeared never to be seen again. It was fun to watch while he was around though and never caused any problems.
 
Those guys are great algae eaters.. Eventually they do get quite large and will decimate nearly any green algaes
