@revhtree So I decided to pick up an sq120 Apogee PAR sensor and use a multimeter for the measurements. Total cost $155 since I already have a multimeter with 200mv selection.

I have the maxspect razor at 100% blue and 80% white. I have also created diffused covers over the LED pads. I took quick measurements and am pretty happy with the results. I will be removing the diffusers and putting the stock 120* reflector back on to compare the PAR loss. Here are my first measurements.

can’t believe I stopped updating this build thread. This tank went through some serious challenges. I would assume it was due mainly to the dry rock and sand. I couldn’t get it to stabilize and Dealt with GHA, Dinos, cyano, that killed my new frags.

I am too stubborn to give up and after 3 years things have stabilized. I do have a couple hold overs from the original frags.

Things I have changed. I went to an Avast Kalk stirrer. Added a few more rocks. Tank has matured and is doing great right now.

Yes, I still use the razor. I added 2 24” reef brite blue XHOs strips and run them at 100%. I wasn’t happy with the razors purple color. The reef brite strips are great with the razor.

No, I run the razors blue channel at 100% and the Whites at 70%. The reef brites run at 100%. My tank is 20” tall. The sand bed is getting 150ish par.
