In need of guidance...

Im trying to start making and using a waterfall style algae scrubber, but I don't know where to look to get the correct info. I didn't find much in the DIY section, and was hoping someone had a breakdown of supplies needed, and instructions, etc...

Does anyone know anywhere to get this info? Links are much appreciated!

This is great info as I’m looking to create one myself. I do have a question with 3 separate options for the build, should a separate pump be used, connect the algae scrubber directly from the return line, or connect to the manifold with a valve to control flow?
