Hi

I have some red and green mushrooms that I would like to frag, but I can't pull out the rock they are attached to out. If I cut the mushrooms in half (or quarters) and left both pieces attached would they heal into 2 new clones or would they grow back together?

Thank you

You have a 50/50 chance. I have found that cutting Into the base seems to produce a baby mushroom more times then not, and seems to be easier on the mother mushroom.
Good luck

You can cut the cap off too if you want to relocate it. The remaining foot tissue will grow a new cap and the severed cap will reattach eventually.
