In tank cipro dosing

ive lost thousand in corals already it seemed impossible to get cipro
Maybe try taking your torch coral to a vet and ask LOL, show evidence of its effective at treating torches that are sick.
Technically it’s an animal.

On a real note I just made a thread. I’m going through an issue I think bacterial but have no cure .

The only option I can think of now is to buy the KFC dip, it comes with cipro and doesn't require a prescription. Only thing is, it's kind of expensive.

Thefishaid.com is still selling their remaining stock of several antibiotics including cipro without prescription.

2 weeks after the treatment.

Just want to share a quick update on my tank. 6 days of in-tank cipro treatment, skimmer set to dry skimming (merely for oxygenation), removed carbon, turned off UV.

It worked!! Frogspawn and torches fully recovered. On day 1 of treatment, brown jelly was visibly hanging out of frogspawn’s mouth.

I opted for in-tank because isolated treatment wasn’t working for me for some reason.

Lost 17 torch heads (prior to in-tank treatment)
3 hammer heads
1 big chunk of walled frogspawn (same as mentioned above. was able to save a part of it)

But was able to save my Indo torch and prized heads of hammer garden.

No detrimental effects on fish or other inverts.

Wish I had done it earlier.
What’s your update

So I decide I'm going to go with the fauna Marine and Triton RTN-X treatments for now. Problem is it will take so much of either of these products to treat my 900 gallon system. It's one bottle of Fauna Marine per treatment which is crazy. However, the cost of me treating it this way is much cheaper than the continued lose of acro colonies after acro colonies
