In tank filter question.

Hi guys, I have the Tunze 3162 in tank filter and was wondering how to best benefit from it. I currently have carbon, rowaphos and at the very top 2 layers of floss. Is there anything else I can add in there to improve the filtration of my reef? thanks.

Maybe you can fit some of those bioballs in there for biological filtration?

What size tank and how much rock? You honestly don’t need to pack a filter with stuff. Aside from carbon helping with clarity, that other nutrient export stuff should only be added if you’re having an issue. Bio media maybe, but if you’ve got enough rock it’s not necessary.
