Can somebody please help me out will I need too add a seperate light on a in tank refugium or will my tank light suffice have a 20 gallon AIO

Had another question if it's ok should I add a sand bed if so where can I get such a small amount don't really wanna buy a 5lb bag and have a bunch of sand I can't use
A 5lb bag is probably close to what you need. Worst-case scenario I have a bit extra. You ideally want a 1-2" deep sand bed.

i dont think the light you use for your display will be good enough to get light to the refugium part. Most AIO with intank baskets for refugium will need a light source either directly above the basket or on the side of the glass. Something like the Innovative Marine chaetomax light or the one JBJ has. I personally just use one i got from amazon.

As far as the sandbed, its up to you. You can go bare bottom if you don't want the sand or you can put as little or as much sand as you want. Its your tank, your the one that's going to be looking at it all the time. Do want you like.
