Hi has anyone ever dosed Myxazin in to a fully stocked reef?

What was your experience?

Thanks Tim

In tank treatment is never advisable.
If you using this for ick you be better off removing fish from the DT and do a treatment in a QT.
Let the display with corals and inverts fallow of fish for at least 76 days or longer.

Do you know active ingredient(s)?

It’s not for white spot, this is useless against it.

Ingredients are

Malachite Green
Acriflavine Hydrochloride
And formaldehyde as a a stabiliser

Correct.
I’m not even sure we have it here in the US.
All info I found was in the UK

I thought it might be available in the states as it is in gallons [emoji57]

Ideally, you wouldn't want to dose your display, but if you must you could try a smaller dose to see how things react and make sure you increase aeration as all 3 deplete oxygen.
Your fish will be fine, as far as corals and other inverts I can't say. What are you trying to treat?

My last in tank treatment for fish issues I purchased from this guy 42.5 years ago

I ran a test on some flatworms out of the tank and with in 24hrs they were belly up, it had been suggest to me and I’ve used it before in qt for a eye problem and it does work, I was curious if anyone had used it in a reef tank.

Now from what you have said the water was left still over night so maybe it was just lack of 02 that killed them.
