So I ordered a GHL Mitras a few weeks back when planning on building a 80 cube and that light was going to be a great fit for the tank. Now I changed gears and am looking at a 120 tank thats 48x24 so the Mitras won't work alone...

Should I:

A) Ball out and get another Mitras

B) Get two extra small pendant lights for either side of the Mitras like kessil 160 or Lumini Pixie clone

C) Sell the Mitras and go with a couple Radions or Hydras

thanks for the input y'all

Personally I'd go with A or C. Trying to match lighting color between brands might be a challenge.

Mitras looks like a very good unit that's just less popular here. If you bought a second one you would be set.
If the new Radion G4 excites you, that's certainly an option and should be a solid performer. I'm using AI's and have no complaints.

yea the different hues of light was a problem I thought about Im thinking best thing is to sell the Mitras :( how many radios or hydra 26's would be needed for a 48" tank?

Kinda depends if you want some lower PAR areas in the tank or if you are going all SPS all the time.
2-3 Hydra26's would work, 3 probably being the better choice for even lighting.
Kinda early to say, but I'm betting (2) G4 PRO's would cover it easily.

Which Mitra's did you order? ...or was that singular....you ordered a single Mitras 6200 series?

If that's it, and you like that light, why not order a second?

I'm just torn on what tank I want a 48" or 32/36" and it was a single 6200 if I go with the 48 I'll just order another
