In wall build advice

Looked possibly load bearing to me based on the red circle in this pic... Either way I would build it with a 2x4 header just for the level (flat) factor of the opening. I tend to overbuild things admittedly...

No this wall is not load bearing anymore. But thanks for the advice and i will definitely discuss this with my contracter

Thanks but we spend a lot of money and work on reinforcing the house, that old beam didn’t do anything anymore it was rotten at the bottom and the top.

Can you add an additional ceiling vent fan inside the walls above the tank and have it share the exhaust vent with the bathroom fan?

in the top right you can see the air duct. Just have to create a duct towards above the tank

The other side of the tank is going to be the toilet haha. I’m looking for a mirroring foil or something to block the view 1 way. Does anyone have experience with this? And also with cleaning the glas when using this?

I bet something like this applied to the bathroom side of the aquarium glass would do the trick, that way you can still enjoy the fish on the can

Thanks! I was also considering this but Not sure how to clean the window in that case. Don’t know if a magnet will damage the foil and I can’t get to the tank from the toilet side.

I think it would be fine if installed properly. The external part of the mag cleaners generally have a soft felt, at least the one I use does.

You should make that bathroom opening look like a Porthole on a ship!

Yes I have a water source where I will Connect the rodi filters on and also a drain on the bottom
Right that Goes to the sewer. I will configure auto water changes. Can you show pictures of yours?

Just a quick update on the build.

We placed a concrete Floor and created a hole in the wall for Ventilation. And we finished the walls etc. The tank wil be placed in about a month, and we will build a custom build cabinet around it.

Short update on the build. We placed the tank and the cupboard around it. Now we have to finish of the restroom side. In the far right cabinet there is a
Water supply, waste water connection and air suction for the moist air. Also a hole in the wall for ventilation and
Better ph. Please comment if you have thoughts or suggestions before we install al the hardware.
Planning on Red Sea reef Matt, red sea skimmer, apex Neptune for auto water change, g6 radion, ai Blade, titanium heater, 2x mp40, 2x Vectra m2, aqua medic uv sterilizer. Thanks for following!
