Howdy,

I am looking to increase the stalks of my zoanthids in my frag tank.

According to my last par test they're sitting in 60/100 PAR and moderate flow.

Maybe less flow? I couldn't imagine less par would be good in general.

Well if you just want them to be easy to frag, allow the zoas to grow straight on your glass bottom. Very easy to just scrape them off and pretty much 100% survival rate. Forcing them to stretch isn’t good, they’ll brown out then it’s hard to sell them.

Okay I'll just let them grow - they're fattening up for sure just wish a little stalker. But okay

I mean if you really want them to get long like that, buy a clear frag rack then put all the zoas underneath it so they’re in less intense light. That oughta do the trick in like 2-3 weeks but you’ll have to put them back into higher light for 2ish weeks so they don’t look browned out/pale anymore

To be honest I'm just not going to be picky. My frag tank is finally showing good growth and Ive been fighting algae for months so I'll just be leaving everything lol

Thanks everyone
