So lower par as a start?Zoas stretch for light. Flow effects how they open and possibly skirt length
@footgal
That’s what I would try.So lower par as a start?
Okay thanks - will report backThat’s what I would try.
Bare bottom all zoanthids one can and one rachordiaCan you move them lower? What else is in the tank?
I would move them as low in the tank as you canBare bottom all zoanthids one can and one rachordia
Kessil 160I would move them as low in the tank as you can
Why do you want longer stalks?
Okay I'll just let them grow - they're fattening up for sure just wish a little stalker. But okayWell if you just want them to be easy to frag, allow the zoas to grow straight on your glass bottom. Very easy to just scrape them off and pretty much 100% survival rate. Forcing them to stretch isn’t good, they’ll brown out then it’s hard to sell them.
I mean if you really want them to get long like that, buy a clear frag rack then put all the zoas underneath it so they’re in less intense light. That oughta do the trick in like 2-3 weeks but you’ll have to put them back into higher light for 2ish weeks so they don’t look browned out/pale anymoreOkay I'll just let them grow - they're fattening up for sure just wish a little stalker. But okay
