Incredible New Technology for reefers

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share with you a new technology that I came across. I am a reefer that spends a lot of time away from home. This has caused me to lose my tank on several occasions due to a breaker going out or the temperature going haywire. I recently came across a small startup company that provides a device that solves this problem. The device is cheap and sends you a text message when you have a failed circuit or your temperature goes above or below a set point. The unit you see when you click this link is just for the failed circuit portion. However, they were able to set up a temp probe with it for not a whole lot more money. Here is a link

I just wanted to give everyone an update on this after using it for around a year. So I had to leave my tank over the summer to go on a business trip for 3 months. Had I not had the pitboss, I would not have a tank now. There were several times when the device texted me that the power had gone out and a couple of others warning me that the temperature had risen to 83 degrees (which meant my chiller was not functioning properly). By receiving a text message, I was able to get people out to my house to check and fix the problem. For anyone who loves peace of mind and is away from home on a regular basis this thing is a must. What I especially love about it is that it is not reliant on my router or internet having power. Nor is it reliant on there being power to my house. It has its own set of rechargeable batteries that are completely independent. It costs around 300 for the initial purchase and then like 8$ per year. IMHO its a must have for all reefers.
