The Automatic Frozen Fish Food Feeder as a concept is something that we’ve seen before in home DIY incarnations, but never in a professionally developed, commercial version. InD Creations aims to change that with their Auto Frozen Feeder which looks about as compact as you could possibly make something like this, which is good since […]

Was just forwarded this from a fellow SD reefer... let’s get this thing funded!! (Not affiliated other than a backer & a guy that feeds frozen food)

I'm generally not one to back Kickstarter projects, but I did sign up for this one.
I'd really like to see a frozen fish food feeder successfully brought to market.
Such a device has also been one of the most desired hobby innovations, based on threads here.
I'm surprised more people haven't signed up already.

Design looks like a downsized version of Dr Elliot's old DIY freezer housed hairdryer/revolving feeder setup

I’ve been waiting for a non DIY product like this for a while now. I like that I can initiate feedings both manually or through apex. The price is less than what I would have to pay for the DIY version and it should easily fit in my small sump area. Hoping the campaign goes well.

This is a great idea. I have also backed this project. The creator Erik and his team seem to be taking the proper steps to ensure a successful product. They are also listening to all customer concerns and changing the design accordingly. Let's get this funded! I will reach out to him to see if he will come here to answer any question or concerns we all may have.

I have a couple questions Erik. Just trying to make sure I pick the correct model for my tanks. I am noticing that the main difference between the Ultimate and the Basic XL is one has an extra freezer unit and power supply and the other has a docking unit. With the docking unit and extra freezer together will we have the ability to do both? I.E. Can we mount one on the tank and one over the sump in a different room with slurry emptying in to my return chamber? Or the second freezer unit(with or without docking) to a different tank in the next room? How do the two freezer units actually connect to each other or the power supply? Is the power cord long enough to reach another room or can the power cord be modified to reach? Will the docking unit come with all accessories needed for functionality? Pumps and hoses...
