That is unlikely to be Uronema. I call it clownfish bruising. You only see it on the white stripes of clownfish, under the skin. Nobody knows the cause of it. In some cases the fish get better, in other cases they don’t - a real mystery to me!Hi, I Just noticed my clownfish have this soft red mark spot on the right side of his boyd, is this Uronema? i moved it to the QT straight away.
Thank you

Clownfish bruising/lesion?
All, Over the past two years or so, I've come across dozens of cases on the fish disease forum here of an issue with clownfish that we have not been able to identify. I've never seen it on any clownfish I've had myself, but the issue seems most common on designer clowns, which I don't work...www.reef2reef.com

What would you recommend? Put it back to the main tank or leave it on the QT as long as the bruise is visible? We don't know the cause, but it doesn't seem to be contagious. Since the cause isn't know, there isn't any treatment. Some of these affected fish get better and some don't. I wish we knew more about it, sorry.....
