Hi, I Just noticed my clownfish have this soft red mark spot on the right side of his boyd, is this Uronema? i moved it to the QT straight away.

That is unlikely to be Uronema. I call it clownfish bruising. You only see it on the white stripes of clownfish, under the skin. Nobody knows the cause of it. In some cases the fish get better, in other cases they don’t - a real mystery to me!

Hi Jay, so is it contagious, what precaution or medicine need to be done with this kind symptoms? the fish is active and eats normaly aside from the bruise getting darker after a week observation.

We don't know the cause, but it doesn't seem to be contagious. Since the cause isn't know, there isn't any treatment. Some of these affected fish get better and some don't. I wish we knew more about it, sorry.....

What would you recommend? Put it back to the main tank or leave it on the QT as long as the bruise is visible?

I would keep it in the QT if that tank is stable, with no ammonia.
