This is the second yellow watchman gobie I’ve owned. My first one was sold when I tore down that aquarium. This is the second one I’ve owned. It looks odd for a “yellow” watchman right? Well this little guy who I named Lazarus, had been living in the sump section of a Nuvo 10 gallon aquarium for the last 8 months! I bought him and the next day he was gone. I assumed that he had jumped ship and been eaten by my dog. Flash forward to 3 days ago and while tearing down the Nuvo guess who makes an appearance? Had this been any other fish I would have been surprised. But I’m not. Remember the first watchman I mentioned? When I tore down his tank I placed him in a plastic bag for transport and in the hustle and bustle of moving lost track of him. I found him TWO weeks later in the front yard under some bushes on a 90+ degree summer day! He was as if nothing had happened. Anybody else know of any super powered fish like these?

Wow, thanks for sharing. We had a freshwater cichlid that had jumped out of our tank and when I found him he was completely dry but I decided to try to save him and to our surprise he came to and took off under his cave. A year later we sold the tank and he was still kicking.
