Indian butterfly goby?

I think that reef salinity would be too high for them. Maybe in a FOWLR setup running at 1.020, but not with corals. It also isn't their natural habitat, so I doubt that one would thrive. A brackish mangrove lagoon running at 1.008 would be ideal for them.

Has anyone ever kept an Indian butterfly goby fish in a reef tank?
This isn’t a species of goby but instead a species of Wasp Fish. They are able to be kept in reef aquaria but they’re a relative of the Scorpionfish so will have to be given good sized tank mates and appropriate foods.
@lion king will be able to tell you more about this species.

They are a venomous, waspfish, in the family of scorpionfish. While they can live in a reef, they are better in brackish water. Their lifespan will be decreased in a higher sg.

I have a green clown goby, 6 line and file fish. Was seeing if I can add him. Was seeing if he would eat any snails as well. I don’t have shrimp which I know they go after.
