I have no personal experience, but I have always thought it was a super-cool looking fish. Hopefully we can hear from someone who has owned one…

I see them often while scuba diving, neat fish! They get kinda big though and I’ve seen firsthand their ferocity against smaller foodstuffs. Shrimp would probably be a no-go and I also would stay away from smaller fish. Essentially, I’d treat it like a small grouper
