So I opened the blinds to ones of my windows, the lights on my tank are not on but there is enough light from outside for my GSP to open and be out. Is that too much light? Should I keep my blinds closed?

I don't.

It's healthy for the corals and the system, I give mine full direct window light as long as it shines in that direction

I have the window in the nem tank half exposed to the tank, the only negative Ive been able to see , if any, is a little algae growth.
