Indo. acros in England.

I bought a three colour cultured piece a few years ago, one of my lfs received their first box of new Indo. last Tuesday.
I was surprised that this one was left, just in.
One of the first new Indo. posts I saw in the States was offering half inch frags, really?
This is a mini colony and all three pieces are two inch pieces, do you not have pieces like this available at an lfs?
I am not knocking the trade btw, I have no idea what they are or what colour they will end up, they will get fragged when they need fragging!

HK isn’t very far from Indonesia. I’m sure the survival rate is much higher here as the distance is closer and changing less hands. Demand here is high but in the US, people prefer tiny sticks with fancy names. These are some amazing pieces here.

I do have this special stag if anyone wants to pay for shipping. It used to be this ugly green color. Now it’s this beautiful white. In fact I got it the very first week Indo went back live

While it will effect the per kilo ship cost - it won’t turn a $15 coral into a $200 coral - never mind a $600 coral. That type of cost increase would only be justified moving the coral via parcel and even then you might not hit the $200 price point per coral.

all the LFS here in Nor-Cal that I been to are charging $80-$150 for 3-6" Indo colonies if your paying more that well thats your fault

That's exactly what I've been preaching, if you saw the wholesaler cost sheets here in america, you would stop paying $4-600 per half inch... some people need to step back and use their noggin once in a while.

Yea I would urge buyers in the USA to hold off on paying for the 200+ dollar pieces. The price will come down fast if people aren’t buying them. If people keep paying 500 for these bread and butter indo cultures we won’t see the price come down for a while.....

I go to look at online auctions every now and then, people are still paying crazy prices for 2” pieces with barely any polyps on it. I personally prefer smaller pieces but I’d feel stupid paying for a tiny piece where the Mother colony is only 10% of the price.

The hong kong prices are not far off at all. I'm not gonna go into detail but like some people said above i wouldnt pay over $100 for any bali maricultre colony.

The price gouging here in Houston is crazy. One LFS is selling 1' frags of these mari's for $200 plus
