Great video. Something I have often wondered about. With maricultured acropora very rarely is there much encrusting. I had always thought that it was a cutting that was fairly freshly mounted to its maricultured disk. However after seeing this video with large colonies that had little encrusting. Is that typical with ocean grown coral? Maybe due to higher flow in our tanks we get more encrusting? It looked like in the video their was little to almost no flow and lots of sediment. It must be constant work keeping them clean and free from algae and sediment.
