I’ve been wanting to arrange for an import for a while now and finally pulled the trigger.
I got 3 boxes this week, and it was just as awesome as I hoped!
Here are a few pictures, but there will be plenty to follow.
25 colonies of Acropora & 11 LPS.
1 came in RTNd, another RTNd first night, other than that the health is awesome and there are some really nice ones.
I will be selling some stuff off so if you see something you like, let me know!!

Thanks!
So I used to import more often about 7 years ago.
This time I talked to an old contact of mine, in indo, figured out what I wanted, found a shipment to piggy back with, because importing 3 boxes isnt worth it, I usually do 10 boxes minimum for an import.
Finding the supplier is the number one step - and if you’re doing a direct import, you have to go through a USFWL airport, and hire a customs broker lol, for sure.

I haven’t been able to spend much time taking pictures…
And I need to get an SLR because the phone isn’t cutting it anymore, but man! These corals are awesome.
The blasto is actually two different blastos growing together.
Left side is oranger, right side is blood red, and has more pronounced green mouths.
I like the Elegence best though for the LPS.
It’s such bold gold/yellow tips, pure white tentacles and metallic bright green for the body, really stunning.

I did promise my wife these corals are to support my hobby as I’m going to sell them to fund Chems & upgrades, so I’ve already decided I’m marking the elegance at $400 and hoping no one buys it lol

hi where are you located ?

I have to look more closely at costs, but I think I’d have to be at $500 for the colony as a whole. You think that’s a reasonable price tag in the market?
ive seen nicer for less. recently.
not an lfs but a coral importer that does sales on FB and ebay.

It sounds like you've done this before, so hopefully your experience will help, you, but if you want to keep your "customers" happy, I would highly recommend keeping the colonies in your system for at least 3 months (6months is much better) before selling any of them. Maricultured and wild pieces take a long time to settle in to captivity and will often RTN for no apparent reason in the first few months. Also I'm sure you already know that colonies do not ship well. Maricultured colonies are particularly bad shippers.

Here’s what I’ve got so far:
Ultra Gold Torches or ultra green&yellow frogspawn, . $200 per head, $300 for 2 head frags, I have a couple smaller heads I could do $150 on.

Acro frags - different prices for different sizes for 1” all the way up to whole colonies, PM me, I can do great pack pricing.

Blasto Colony $400
I would consider selling either the orange half or the blood red/green mouth half on it’s own for $250 each.

Gold tip elegence $400 - absolutely stunning, best elegance I’ve ever seen!

$60 for 2” frags of the Favia in a couple weeks or I’ll do the whole colony for $175, it’s a cool one!

Also have 30 ricordea Florida coming in on Tuesday.

Pick up in Toledo, Oh or Shipping is $90 under $100 purchase, $65 for $100-200, $30 for $200-300 & free $300 & over.

Absolutely! In case it was unclear to anyone - these are freshly imported colonies, 4 days in, I’m a week or so from letting anything walk out, and probably 2 weeks from letting anything ship.
Just like the guys who post their colonies for sale prefragging, this will not ship immediately.
If you’re looking for aquacultured frags, I have those too, not of these of course.
I’m just a hobbyist, who’s bringing in coral and is interested in selling some to people who want to buy freshly imported corals.
Maricultured sps are most definitely finicky, and I’m not going to frag then for at least 30 days.
I have about 20 nice frags now from broken spires in the bag that are doing great, I may start selling those after 30 days if they’re growing nicely.
The lps rarely rtn without looking questionable to start in my experience. I did a fairly diluted iodine dip on arrival, FYI. Happy to share any info on my parameters etc if anyone has concerns :)

I’m not sure how these two comments got fumbled together, the price list was supposed to go to a new thread in marketplace…
Anyway, just wanted to give you guys an update.
We’re officially over a week since import.
We had 2 colonies out of 24 Acros RTN, and 1 small polyped branching hammer that didn’t make, everything else is looking strong.
I’m think about designing a 90 day period for the Acros, some frags some mini colonies and some colonies from the mariculture import, maybe 50 PCs in all, and setting them up in their own frag rack, and tracking their progress, growth and color development each week for 3 months. It would be cool to see at the very least, right?
Anything else that could be cool to track, or try and see other than growth, color development and of course survival rates?
