Has anyone used these industrial wire shelving units (I am looking at these: https://www.webstaurantstore.com/regency-24-x-24-nsf-green-epoxy-wire-shelf/460EG2424.html) to hold water storage containers?
I am in a townhome and have limited storage for holding RODI water and want to make use of some vertical space. The only space I have also blocks the continuous hot water heater, so I needed something modular in case I need to get at it in the future.
I want to use a 32g Brute Trash Can at about 35" off the ground to hold fresh RODI water, and then placing 2x 20g brute totes containers underneath that, about 16" off the ground, one to hold ATO water and one for AWC. Each shelf is rated for 600 lbs. I figure the most that a shelf will see is ~333lbs, assuming I filled both 20g containers to the brim, which leaves me well short of the rating. I am just unsure if the "split sleeve" method of holding these shelves on will work.
