Inexpensive blue moonlight on ebay....

As a moon light it should work.

Ive used them before and the work ok, but you don't get a lot of fluorescence with them. I've been using some other cheap ones I found on ebay, I'll see if I can find the sellers name for you. They do produce good fluorescence.

Hmmm, these are the lights you see some business use to wrap around there windows to draw attention to themselves. My cousin once owned a similar strand of these lights that got their color from the plastic coating itself. I know those lights were brighter than what i would have wanted to use as a moon light on my tank. Being that these ones you are asking about are accually colored by the bulbs themselves, it may just be the ticket you are looking for! If you order some, let us know how it works out! I myself am quite curious about your find :) My only concern is that they might be brighter than what you may be looking for!
