Great! I'm starting a new 60 Gallon Cube tank. Trying the Triton Method so hopefully this light will work out. The par readings from the manufacturer look really impressive and its full spectrum.

Have you personally used this light? Just ordered one last night to try out and if it works well i will purchase one for the other side of my scrubber screen. I have been currently running the amazon strip lights but have had 2 sets go out already. Other then then just stopping working they were great on my algae turff scrubber as far as growth went.

Yes, I had this light and did not go bad I just I have to removed since macroalgae grows fast in the chamber.

I got this one and love it. $36. It says it is 100w, but my Apex reports that it is drawing 50w. No fans (unlike the older UFO's that were very loud). Excellent cheato growth. And it is waterproof (though I haven't dunked it to test, but it's gotten salt and splashes on it and it is fine). I definitely recommend it.

I know this is an old post. But did you get the 12w or 24w? Still like it?

I picked up this light and use it with my ATS and it works great. I run it on one side with a daylight spectrum led flood light on the other side. The hair algae on each side of the screen are slightly different colors but both grow about the same as far as density.
