Infection Question on Current Wound - A. fuscus

Hi there, wrote a couple days ago regarding some small wounds sustained by my C. strigosus, at the store prior to purchase. Thank you very much for looking and helping!.

I have another fish wound that I would be grateful if you could look at and advise. I am mostly curious to know if this this wound looks infected or not, and if I should carry out any treatment specific to it.

Currently the tank is being treated with Coppersafe (2.0 per Hanna), G.C., and Metronidazole. Thank you for looking!

Furan-2
General Cure
Prazipro
Metroplex
Kanaplex

I am not sure what caused this wound. This fish had been in the store for at least a month, by itself, in a small holding tank connected to a large system. I'm not sure how long the fish has had this, as I didn't notice it in previous observations.

Using the acriflavine as a dip (it's an antiseptic, with some antibiotic properties) would be unlikely to do harm. You could also add Kanaplex to the Metro/copper mix you're using, to help with any bacterial issues.

Furan-2 might be useful to keep on hand, as well. It works well in concert with Kanaplex and Metroplex.
