They do look very different to me & I would buy either or both. The lighter one looks more like a Lemon Drop than a Flame tip though. Did the LFS say where they got them?

They do look very different in person. He didn't mention his source. He had atleast 10 . They were all attached to one rock.

Got mine from Matt at Coral Collection about 8 months ago. It is still super bright and they hold colors under leds very well.

Thanks for starting this thread. I've been tempted to order an Inferno for months but I'm hesitant to spend $400 for something I can't see in person. It's helpful to see pictures other than the ones on the web site with different lighting & tank conditions. It's also reassuring that locals will walk in and pay that much $$$ for one. Makes me think they really must be spectacular.

FYI. I was in Coral Collection on Thursday (3/28) and the guy (Matt?) said that they were having a sale this weekend on these anemones. They're $300 apiece through Sunday. He also indicated that all of their "Flame" and "Inferno" anemones were clones from anemones they've had for over 10 years.

Thanks all. I'm picking up a flame today so I'll the getting a picture of both of them together inside my tank

Flame type, is not the same as Inferno. If you saw the Inferno, you would see the difference, and know why they are priced the way they are priced.
