Inflating mushrooms

Hi

Over the last few months my hairy mushrooms have inflated to the point that they looked like they were going to burst, but after 10 - 15 minutes they return to normal. Since they seem to be doing fine and growing I guess it is not a bad thing. Anyone have any ideas why this happens. I have watched them deflate and they don't seem to expel anything.

They do that when they eat something.
