anyone here have knowledge or know of some good links, plan to setup a sytem for myself and figured Id start here.

Get ahold of Richard Ross from the Bay area. He is a cuttlefish breeder.

my big brother got accepted into a marine biology class at his college and hes doing at 10 page research project/report on them a Woodshole (research facility in cape cod that is big on cuttle fish). So cool! I see them when i snorkel and sometimes can kinda play with them. very interesting and curious animals

yea and I thought Id try my hand at raising them if I do what I want but things have been slow this month so we will see lol.

I saw the Caribean version (not sure what the scientific name) while diving in Caracao. Of all the dives I have logged in both the Atlantic and Pacific that was one of the coolest creatures I have ever see. I have wanted to keep one ever since.

They are even better in the aquarium, They will interact with you and even seem to get to know you......mine would eat from my hand....

There is also a new article in the August issue of TFH has has some updated info on keeping and breeding S. bandensis.

Hope this is ok if not please delete. andrewkw over on RC is raising his second batch of cuttlefish lots of info in that thread. I have been tagging along to see how it goes looks good so far:nerd:.
