We, at EYE Lighting, have always stated that we would remain in the HID lamp business as long as (1) customers would continue to buy HID lamps and (2) HID component suppliers would continue to supply. We still have a solid loyal customer base but, unfortunately, the global component supplier base has almost all dried up. If you include supply chain interruptions, cost inflation, and shifts to LED products, it does not make good business sense to continue.
