I just bought a few peaceful fish for my 30.2 aio water box tank. I’ve had them for 3 day and this morning I saw this.is this inch?? I tried to get the best photos I could..
Hi! I'm new to this, so my advice probably isn't the most trustworthy lol. Are you referring to the small spot on the fish's dorsal fin? Also, what are your tank parameters? It would be great to get a clearer picture, but that could be ich or just a spot in the water.
Parameters are normal (I try to stick to the normal guidelines) but he and 2 other (a royal gramma and a yellow watchman) everyone seems fine but this one. It’s 2 spots alongside looks like a mini snake bite kinda. But they weren’t there yesterday
I can't exactly make it out, but I don't think that's ich. If it looks like a snakebite it may be bacterial, an infected wound. Grammas can be territorial, but I don't think they would bite too bad. Do you have a quarantine set up?
Looks like a blemish on the fish itself. Assuming water quality is good, this should be good. I would add melafix in the event it is due to aggression for assured healing, otherwise keep an eye on it
