Inheritance of a 75g tank

Hi all,

I inherited a 75 gal salt tank. The poor fish had to travel in a winter storm with all of the water and sand in buckets. Happy to say, everyone survived.

I really need a ton of education to keep this tank thriving and happy. That’s why I am here, knowledgeable and inspiration!

i think I need to work on the rocks first. I did just “throw them in”. Then maybe lights. I am hoping to build a reef tank and join the culture of a “reefer”

Welcome! Glad you joined. We've already told our daughter she'll be getting our corals and fish in some far future day. Sorry for your loss, but glad you inherited aquarium and contents to help keep that person's memory in your heart.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)
