Initiating an Apex Feed Mode

I have manual switches tied to a breakout box. I know how to create a feed mode using one of those. But it would be cleaner to initial one of the built in feed mode (A-D) when I flip the switch. Is there a way to initiate Feed Mode using a command if I flip a switch?

The built in FeedA - FeedD timers can only be initiated manually by clicking them on your dashboard. They cannot be triggered programmatically. Read my tutorial on Apex Feed Cycles for a method of simulating it with a virtual output as a timer:
