Heyo,

New to R2R, I got this Clown Trigger in my 230 gal last week he's been eats little, very docile and always hides in triggered up in the rocks.

He definitely swims oddly compared to previous triggers I've had, I think he's got a bum top dorsal fin.

What do you all think?

Apparently this is swim bladder.

I think my CT and Porc Puffer have had it for about 2 weeks.

Anyone have experience getting rid of swim bladder in either species???

Both normally charismatic fish have turned listless but still eating.

BUMP!

No real improvement for the CT and its been about 3 weeks but he still eats off of the tongs daily.

I'm thinking about swapping it for another CT...but this guy has the best markings I've ever seen.

Has anyone had a positive experience with getting rid of swim bladder in CTs???

Porc Puff has seemingly fully healed with the Keraplex.

Clown Trigger is still reeling, but eats a little bit daily? Any experience with swim bladder on Clown Triggers? #fishmedic
Hi, the clown trigger does look negatively buoyant - but that is usually caused by physical factors - having been needled after collection, or being held at lower salinity.
Was the fish swimming like this when you bought it?

No he has been fine, the Porc Puffer was acting similarly for about 2 weeks or so but much less movement both came on about the same time. I keep my salinity around 1.02.

Didn't feel right continuing to try to heal my CT from the Swim Bladder infection so my buddies from Capital Aquarium in Manassas, VA took him in.

Top Shelf Aquatics (TSA) @TopShelfAquatics one of the R2R sponsors hooked me up with this beast about a week ago. Great looking CT in perfect health at a great price, highly recommend!
