Injured fish help

I have a lemon peel angel and i woke up this morning found him under the rocks, when i got him out it appeared he was dying.. No i noticed a red spot (think its blood) around his left fin, he keep getting sucked against the filter, will this heal if its the case what should i do?

If he has internal injuries he probably won't make it. Only time will tell. In the mean time can you reduce the flow so it is easier for him.

I think your angel is sick, I don't think it got hurt though.
Maybe the powerhead did some damage but that was after he got in trouble being a healthy angel.

he looks pretty bad off. is he still alive? How long have you had him? Did you, or do you now notice any heavy breathing? Was he QT'd at all?

Usually when fish reach that point there is not much to be done. How long has the tank been setup?
