Hi everyone,
I’ve had an outbreak in my tank of ich so I have pulled my fish out and put them into QT. I’ve started a copper treatment and the concentration is about 0.3mg/l of cupramine right now.
I don’t really know what’s happened but when feeding my fish my yellow tang seems to have wedged itself accidentally behind my seachem ammonia badge just for a second, then it seemed to nose dive and then lay on the bottom of the tank. It got up shortly after but was swimming in circles and looked in pain. During the day it seemed to improve and looked okay and began eating normally again so I thought all was okay.
The next morning though he’s not eating and its struggling to swim normally and sometimes laying on the glass bottom, I’d assume he won’t make it. My other 3 fish look fine, I’m only ramping up the copper so should I just remove it in the hope that without it in the water he may have more of a chance of recovering?
Many thanks!
