Can anyone ID what’s on my wrasse?

Looks like an injury. Possibly from the wrasse burying in the sand an a rock shifting/sliding. Could be lympho. Need a clearer picture.

Has this progressed slowly? Suddenly?

I noticed a bump on the top of his head the other day and from there it’s gotten worse down his body . He’s eating fine and acting normal which made me think it was just maybe a injury going in and out of the sand but more bumps have shown up .

I think I would try a FW dip if you can catch him. As much as that looks like an injury I’m wondering about flukes (spot on his head).

Did anything happen in your tank that could e caused an injury like that? Rock falling over? I have a wrasse that swam up into a HOB pump in QT and came out with some weird marks.
I think injury because of the notch in his dorsal fin, I think parasite because of the swollen symmetrical lines. This is a tough one.

You could try a dose of Prazipro in your DT to see if it clears up. It is generally Reef safe.

Nothing has happened that I’m aware of .i noticed the notch in his fin one day then the next day or two later I noticed a bump on the top of his head then all theses another bumps showed up.

My lights just shut off and he went into the sand where I could possible grab him do you think it would be a good idea to Fw dip him ?

If he wasn’t injured or a victim of aggression I would do a FW dip. It can’t hurt and it would help rule out a possible parasite.
