I noticed my Tomini Tang had a spot on his head yesterday. He gets these from time to time (usually on his side) and they usually clears up in a few days.

He eats like a pig (nori, spectra pellets, LRS frozen soaked with vitachem) so I don't think it is malnutrition. Him and my bicolor angel have disagreements from time to time, so I am leaning toward him swimming into a rock after an altercation.

What do you think?

Looks like an injury/bacterial inf to me. Definitely doesn't look like HLLE to me.

That's a very nice, fat tang!
Like I said, not malnourished, lol. Yes, he is beautiful. I wish he came out more often. He has bright orange fins and a long white tail.

I agree; a PBT I used to have would bang her head into rocks all the time and it would look like that. I would soak her food in vitamin supplements and feed extra nori to help with the healing process.
