Hi all,

This morning my bicolour blenny and coral beauty were fighting abit and after I noticed this mark on the side of his head which also had some bruising. I'm not sure best way to deal with it?

They generally get along and swim around together but every now and then there is a little posturing between them. it's only them and 2 little clown fish in a 150g tank and they both decided to call the same bit of rock home.

The photo was taken in the morning and it's already improved a lot, it's hard to see the bruising that was present. I dosed prazi pro as a precaution. His behaviour is normal and still eating like a pig

Hi! sorry for your fishy troubles. It doesn't look too bad right now. I would just add vitamins like Selcon or Vitachem to his food for a while. Wait and see if he can heal up on his own. You'll want to watch for redness and for it turning white. Both are signs of infection. Prazi is a dewormer and wont help him heal. If your fish haven't been treated for flukes yet, then go ahead and do the second round of prazi after a water change in about 5 days.

Oh I see I thought prazipro dealt with flukes, parasites and bacterial infections. In that pic you can see the bruising but it's appeared as a dark purple patch near the lump, the bruising was dark red which is all gone now and the lump has reduced and she's acting normal. I'll add some selcon to his food. Thanks, she's my fav fish so much personality!
