Need help identifying this just bought yesterday not sure if it was like this
The shape and angle of that points to Uronema to me. This is an internal protozoan infection, and once it reaches the surface of the fish's skin, there is little that can be done about it - I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

Sorry to hear. You should let the dealer know. While they had no way to know the fish had unerupted Uronema, it was most definitely infected when you got it. I’ve never been able to treat this myself….
