Ink Bird single probe holder / mount

I'm new to SW and I've read a lot of threads on here about heaters sticking so I bought a controller for my heater. The Ink Bird arrived today and when I started reading the instructions and looking at it I noticed that they do not include a mount for the actual probe. I can understand this since it's meant for a wide variety of applications but how do I hold it in place inside the tank? I did a search on here and the only mounts I found were for multiple probes. I'm not that advanced yet to have an Apex with a bunch of probes. I just need to hold one in place. I checked BRS and they don't show single probe mounts either. Haven't tried the LFS yet. Besides, it's a small tank, 16 gallon Bio Cube, and a four position mount will take up a lot of space. I'll need that type of mount for the sump for the tank I'm getting soon, RSR 525XL, but for now I just want to hold one probe.

Any suggestions?

Good idea. Just wonder if the glue would melt the plastic / rubber on the probe housing / wire. I don't think I could put it right on the probe tip without messing up the reading.

It shouldn't melt the plastic. I would glue it to the wire and not directly to the probe though. Frag glue is just Reef safe super glue

I've seen these suction cups online at Ace Hardware Home Depot to name a few. I have even seen heaters come with extras.

I had a ink bird on my nano. It’s a great inexpensive way to control you temp. With that said I feel your pain with holding the probe in one spot.

I used this suction cup and ziptied the wire to the clip and bam it staid in place.
