I have the app on my phone and see that the inkbird is on line. Why can't I change any of the values and every time I open the app up it says offline and I have to tap on it to get it back on line. This controller is so confusing to me.

I had it connected to the app and I had no control of it on my phone so I restored it to factory default. Now I'm having trouble connecting it to the app. does it need to be very close to my router? My router is 15 feet away from it and yes it is set to 2.4. This thing is very confusing, I can't even get the indicator light to flash rapidly to have it search for my iphone and wifi. I'm ready to trash it and get something else. Any suggestions?
