Inkbird 308t with 2 Ehiem tru temp heaters

It’s bugging me that I can’t find this answer anywhere but I guess I haven’t asked in the right places yet so here we go. For anyone that is using these heaters on an ink bird do you just set the temp on the heaters all the way up so when the ink bird turns the heaters on the built-in thermostat on the heaters doesn’t come in to play at all? The ink bird was turning the heaters on but I think the onboard thermostat kept shutting them off and then I was getting alerts from the inkbird that the heaters were running for too long. Also using the inkbird PRO app anyone else having issues where the history was not loading? This is my second inkbird the first was the green and that was just to Monitor the temp where as this one the heaters are actually plugged into it

Yes to all of the above. No history right now. This has happened before and they fixed it. I also have to set my heater thermostat to 80 to get the InkBird to keep the tank around 78. Sometimes it goes a little bonkers. I was going to try neotherms hoping they would be better. Currently using the finnex with the thermostat.

Sweet great to know thanks brother! Even though the tru temp are glass they are some of the best heaters on the market in my opinion. I just replaced my other two and they where running for 3 years without issue and relying on there built In thermostat. They are low tech, very reliable and the glass is amazingly strong. And only 27.00 a piece! Stoked that for less than 100 bucks you can get those and the inkbird with full WiFi and alerts!
